Zweigelt is an Austrian varietal that has quickly found it's home at Ferox. Primary aromatics of black and red fruit (sour cherry, raspberry and black currant) with hints of black peppercorn, violet and cinnamon. The palate mirrors the nose focussing on blackberry and cassis. Bright acid rounds out the mouthfeel and the tannin structure is well integrated for a mid-palate finish.
